Google left China in 2010 following hacker attacks. Now the company is planning its return for 2019. Project “Dragonfly” is apparently a search engine that censors certain search terms. This has sparked protests, not least among Google's own employees. However, according to a non-representative survey of around 7,400 tech employees, the majority of Google staff support the renewed expansion into China. The tech community as a whole, however, tends to oppose the plan.
