In the future, it will no longer just passively protect cars from the elements; it will also sustainably produce green electricity using rooftop photovoltaics and, ideally, store it in a battery storage system.

The scalable and modular solar carport construction kit system
Many good approaches already exist. But none are like the HELIOS Carport System from T.Werk GmbH in Ellzee. It is suitable for individual solar carports as well as large company or public parking lots, can be flexibly used as an additional solar charging station, and, above all, is easy to plan.
Systematic planning seems to be T.Werk's guiding principle. As with all its products, T.Werk prioritizes high quality, quick assembly, and flexible application, which ultimately pays off. This is also true for the HELIOS carport from T.Werk, where planning reliability is paramount, preventing costly corrections and retrofits.
HELIOS carports are, in effect, Smart City and Smart Grid ready . They offer a full range of modular options. For whatever reason, the HELIOS carport is also available without a PV mounting system. It can therefore be used like a building block system. Charging stations, inverters, and other Smart City and Smart Grid options are easy to install.
Single carport, double carport, or row carport. For any number of even or odd rows of parking spaces. What more could a planner want? It doesn't even get better with Lego.
For example, 96 vehicles (6 rows of 8 double carports each) and approx. 360 kWp (972 modules with 370 Wp, 1,740×1,030×35 mm) fit on a 50×50 m (2,500m²) area including tram lanes between the parking spaces.
This makes the HELIOS Carport system ideally suited for both individual smaller and large solar parking projects:

In terms of price, the solar carport than a conventional carport, but still considerably cheaper than a typical garage.
The approximate guide price, depending on the project, is between €1,200 and €1,500 per parking space with trapezoidal sheet metal and short rail system. The foundation is an additional cost.
