The UK's favorite supermarkets

A new survey by Which? has identified Britain's most popular supermarkets. The ranking was based on a combination of overall customer satisfaction and the likelihood that customers would recommend the supermarket to a friend. Waitrose tops the list with a rating of 76 percent. Although premium supermarket Marks & Spencer takes second place, the two German discounters Aldi and Lidl occupy third and fourth place with 68 and 66 percent respectively. At the other end of the scale, Asda fared worst in the survey with a score of 56 percent.
