Eight German companies are among the top 30 largest postal and courier companies.

In 2017, the United States Postal Service, the world's leading postal and courier company, employed 503,103 people and recorded a revenue of US$70 billion.

Deutsche Post AG follows in second place in the top list of the world's largest postal companies with a turnover of US$68 billion in 2017.

With 938,494 employees, China Post has by far the most employees; the company ranks 4th in the top list.
