From the inspection of incoming goods on the ground floor, through the transport of products to the various levels of the warehouse, to temporary storage for immediate shipment – ​​all processes are geared towards efficiency. For distribution to the convenience stores, the picking process for each store is coordinated directly from the store's central office, with all data being fed into the center's warehouse management system after shipment.

Among the extensive Business Continuity Plans (BCP) implemented at the Ichikawa distribution center is the use of seismic isolators to protect the facility against the effects of earthquakes. Additionally, as a preventative measure against tsunamis, the ground floor has been raised and critical equipment has been installed on the roof. An emergency power supply protects the center from the consequences of power outages. These measures reflect the company's firm commitment to ensuring business continuity and the safety of stored products under all circumstances.
