98% of Chinese online users surf on mobile

According to the China Internet Network Information Center, 802 million Chinese people now use the internet, which corresponds to approximately 58 percent of the total population. And almost all of them (98 percent) also use mobile internet. But the superlatives don't stop there. According to a report by Internet World Business, 71 percent of online users in China use online payment services or e-commerce platforms. Booking taxis or bicycles via apps, as well as reserving buses and trains online, is also widespread.
