Laut einer neuen Studie des Brookings Institute führt die Hochschulbildung zu Arbeitsplätzen mit weniger Potenzial, durch Automatisierung verdrängt zu werden. Insgesamt sind etwas mehr als die Hälfte der Berufe, die weniger als einen Bachelor-Abschluss erfordern, von der Automatisierung bedroht. Bei Berufen, bei denen mindestens ein Bachelor-Abschluss erforderlich ist, besteht derzeit nur bei einem Viertel der Berufe die Gefahr, ersetzt zu werden.
Betrachtet man bestimmte Berufe, so haben etwa acht von zehn Stellen in der Lebensmittelzubereitung und im Dienstleistungsbereich das Potenzial, automatisiert zu werden, während nur etwa 20 Prozent der Führungspositionen derzeit das Potenzial für automatische Störungen haben.
According to a new study released by the Brookings Institute, higher education leads to jobs with less potential for being displaced by automation. On the whole, a little over half of jobs that require less than a Bachelors degree are at risk of automation. For jobs where at least a Bachelors degree is required, only a quarter of jobs are currently at risk of being replaced.
Looking at specific occupations, about eight out of ten food preparation and service jobs have the potential to become automated, while only about 20 percent of management positions currently hold the potential for automative disruption.
