More U.S. homeowners are turning to alternative energy sources as unease over global climate change grows. according to a new Pew Research Center conducted October 1-13, 2019. The survey surveyed more than 3,600 adults.
Time Magazine highlighted climate change by naming Greta Thunberg, the teenage activist who launched the global Fridays For Future movement, as Person of the Year. She refuses to fly on planes, has met with the Pope, given a speech at the United Nations and feuded with President Donald Trump. Most famously, it inspired more than 4 million people to take part in a global climate strike in September.

More than 3,600 adults were questioned for the poll.
