61 percent of young people in Germany (14 to 24 years old) could not do without WhatsApp. This is shown by the U25 study by the German Institute for Trust and Security on the Internet. The messenger is omnipresent among those surveyed with a usage rate of 99 percent. Facebook, on the other hand, is only used at least occasionally by 67 percent. That sounds like a lot, but only eight percent of those surveyed said that they could least do without the network.
