Analysts at Kantar estimate the sales of the world's ten largest retailers to be more than $1.7 trillion this year. The top trio in the ranking is made up of the US companies Walmart, Amazon and Costco. Behind it is the German Schwarz Group, which includes Lidl and Kaufland, with around 133 billion US dollars. With Aldi there is also another German representative in the top 10, as a look at the graphic shows. Behind them are JD.com (China) and Carrefour (France), the only other non-American companies.
