Online trading is booming, more and more people are ordering online. Accordingly, many packages are on the way and have to be delivered to customers - but the parcel carriers are benefiting little from the booming order situation. As the federal government (Germany) states in response to a small query , the earnings of parcel deliverers have fallen over the past ten years. While a full-time messenger without a collective agreement received an average of 2,747 euros in 2007, in 2017 it was only 2,582 euros. The earnings of colleagues who were bound by collective bargaining agreements rose slightly, but in a ten-year comparison it was significantly less than in the economy as a whole.
