Tech community tends to reject Google's China plan

Google left China in 2010 after hacker attacks. The company is now planning to return in 2019. The “Dragonfly” project is apparently a search engine that censors certain search terms. There is protest against this, not least among the company's own workforce. a non-representative survey of around 7,400 employees from the tech sector, the majority of Google employees are in favor of renewed expansion into the Middle Kingdom. On the other hand, the tech community as a whole tends to reject the plan.
