Compared to the last pre-corona year, this segment has increased by 92 percent. The two strongest clusters, entertainment and clothing have also grown in double digits.
According to BEVH, an important driver is the mobile commerce: “In the meantime, ordering via mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets is part of normality. Within the past two pandemic years, the sales volume of the mobile commerce increased by 56.5 percent to EUR 39.9 billion, a good 40 percent of the total e-commerce turnover. ”
