Roof-penetration-free substructure for pitched roofs from T.Werk

The T.Werk GmbH product names are not chosen purely at random, but rather have a deeper meaning.
The METIS system from T.Werk is one of them. The strengths lie in the roof-penetration-free, non-invasive fastening method on pitched roofs!
- The METIS substructure is a non-invasive ballast system for photovoltaic systems on pitched roofs.
Suitable for:
- Roof penetration-free cross rail system for pitched roofs (5°-30°) with bitumen or foil covering
- Plan photovoltaics for warehouses, commercial halls and industrial halls
This solution for pitched roofs allows a photovoltaic substructure to be attached to the roof, purely through weighting and without “damaging” or processing the roof skin (for attachment).
This is of course both practical and ingenious. Here the technicians from T.Werk have once again demonstrated their acumen for practice and solutions. The name METIS says it all, in Greek mythology it stands for ingenuity and practical, complex and implicit knowledge. It is said that Metis was the most knowledgeable among gods and men.
The whole thing has been confirmed by a wind report at the IFI Institute in Aachen and can be reduced to a minimum through the necessary ballasting.
However, the conditions and requirements vary from roof to roof, so no standard is possible. The roofs differ in their location and construction and must therefore be calculated and planned separately on a case-by-case basis.
