Earlier this week, Sony announced the final list of games that will be pre-installed on the PlayStation Classic, which is set to be released in December. While the announcement of the retro console in September had sparked great excitement among PlayStation fans, the selection of games left some gamers disappointed.
While the Classic Edition of the PlayStation, the second best-selling game console of all time with over 100 million units sold, includes classics like Final Fantasy VII, Metal Gear Solid, and Grand Theft Auto, some of the most popular games and characters of the PlayStation era are conspicuously absent from the 20 titles. So, while video game fans can bring the gaming experience of the 90s into their living rooms starting December 3rd, anyone wanting to play Gran Turismo, Crash Bandicoot, or Tony Hawk will inevitably have to dust off their old console from the attic.
