Beer sales in Germany are weakening. It has fallen from 104 to 94 million hectoliters over the past 10 years. As a result, breweries have tried to keep customers happy with discount campaigns. However, this trend appears to be over, as the following infographic shows: The price of beer has climbed to a higher level in the last few months. The beer producers want to give the beer product a higher value through the price increase. In addition, breweries say they have to pass on the increased prices for energy, wages and logistics to their customers.
