IoT Overview
IoT, Industry 4.0, Big Data, Smart Home, RFID, 5G, and many other new terms have been thrown at us in recent years. We stood there in amazement, our mouths agape, as it all still sounded like science fiction and utopia. The logic behind communicating microwaves or refrigerators didn't make sense to us then, and for many of us, it still doesn't.
Industry 4.0? Smart Factory? Smart Industry? Is there even a difference? The 'buzzword factory' was booming again, and the 'buzzword bingo machine' is still running at full speed.
We're currently working on a comprehensive article on this topic and have already gathered quite a bit of information. This graphic was one of the preliminary results. We found it simple and easy to understand for a first, general overview. We wanted to share it with the world! 😉
