Boys and girls apparently inform themselves differently about current political and social events. This emerges from a current study by the Vodafone Foundation. According to this, boys and young men between the ages of 14 and 24 get information primarily from online media; for girls and young women the figure is 20 percent. They get information on social media just as often; for male respondents this is only eleven percent, as the Statista graphic shows.
