On October 24, 2019, 123energie achieved 1st place in the price-performance ratio and 2nd place overall in the German Fairness Prize, which was awarded for the sixth time by n-tv and the German Institute for Service Quality.
For this purpose, around 50,000 customer opinions on 545 companies from 48 industries were evaluated between April and August 2019. Prize winners are the best-rated companies in the sectors examined. The panel survey focused on opinions on the areas of value for money, reliability and transparency. The consumers assessed whether the price and performance of the products or services offered were in a fair relationship for them, as well as the binding nature of company statements and compliance with agreements and promised services - also with regard to product or contractual services is whether problems and complaints are responded to fairly, whether prices and contractual services are transparent and understandable and, for example, there are no hidden costs. The results of satisfaction with the sub-areas were included in the overall result with the following weightings: price-performance ratio with 40 percent, reliability and transparency with 30 percent each. In the “national electricity providers” category, opinions on 29 providers were evaluated, and in the “national gas providers” category on 23 providers.
Joachim Schädler, Head of Private and Commercial Customers at Pfalzwerke, said: “For us, a transparent pricing model, reliability and trust are the most important pillars of our performance and our customer relationships. This is the only way we can continually satisfy our customers and assert ourselves in an energy market with an increasing number of competing providers and a high willingness to change. That’s why the fairness award makes us particularly proud.”
Pfalzwerke Aktiengesellschaft's online brand "123energie" prevailed against strong competition and secured first place in the price-performance ratio evaluation in the "national electricity provider" category and was also awarded first place in the same category as well as in the "gas provider" category nationally” was awarded second place.
