Facebook and its clone troopers are putting Snapchat to shame

Snapchat lost users for the first time last quarter. The competition is certainly not entirely innocent of this. Facebook has long since cloned the Stories concept and gradually integrated it into all of the company's apps. Since then, Snapchat has been in a crisis with no visible way out: the platform has been robbed of its unique selling point. To make matters worse, the clone troopers are also significantly more successful than the original. Both Instagram and WhatsApp Status have had more active users than Snapchat since last year - Facebook Stories could follow suit later this year.
