Digital terms remain uncharted territory

When it comes to terminology, the Internet actually remains new territory for many. This is evident from figures from TNS Infratest. The market research company surveyed 1,003 people about their awareness of digital terms. The most popular is social media. 38 percent of those surveyed can describe what it is, and 25 percent have heard of it. The forms of communication on the social network Twitter are less common. Tweets and retweets were completely unknown to 65 percent. The ad blocker is also unknown to 65 percent. This will certainly make many online entrepreneurs happy. Germans were least familiar with wearables: over 80 percent of those surveyed did not know what the term meant.
