There are three key aspects of economics that are fundamental to a country's competitiveness:
Automation or industrial automation
One key aspect is automation, or more specifically, industrial automation, which, in addition to providing flexibility and rapid response times, is also a significant factor in reducing personnel and material flow costs. This includes sensor technology and robotics.

This has opened up two new problem areas for the economy. Firstly, there are global crises or local incidents ( world logistics and the container ship "Ever Given" in the Suez Canal ), and secondly, the enormous energy demand that accompanies the increased requirements for rapid availability and flexibility in responding to changes. Logistics can only respond to the former with decentralized and regional buffer warehouses ( micro-hubs ). This has been criminally neglected by businesses in their obsession with growth.
Autonomous power supply
The increased energy demand cannot simply be met with a "business as usual" approach; otherwise, we risk the collapse of our remaining natural resources, such as the environment. With the growing awareness of sustainable economic practices, autonomous power supply is moving into focus. Especially now, in light of the threat of power outages, autonomous power supply offers a significant advantage: greater security and improved predictability.

Increased functionality
The issue of urbanization tells us that existing resources and land are limited and, in many areas, already exceed their limits. Simply increasing the density of existing areas is not enough. Increased functionality simultaneously leads to cost reduction
The increase in functionality, with its simultaneous impact on autonomous power supply, has also begun in the field of photovoltaics. Existing sealed roof surfaces can be used for electricity generation by installing solar modules, thus adding another function or positive attribute.
The same applies to the sealed and asphalted surfaces that are so prevalent in urbanized areas. Simply covering them with solar panels isn't enough. In other words, the functional purpose must be accompanied by a positive impact on people and the environment. This is especially true in urbanized areas, where densification means that the remaining open spaces are a far more important indicator of a high quality of life and a positive urban environment. Negative sentiments can translate into destructive behaviors with uncontrolled consequences.
Mobility is a crucial asset in today's world, contributing to a sense of freedom. Open, paved parking spaces are simple and inexpensive. Weather protection, such as a roof, is already considered a cost factor. With a self-sufficient, autonomous power supply, the operation of an automated, moisture-sensor-controlled pumping system with fertilizer enrichment for drip irrigation can be expanded.
In addition, such an agri-PV system also protects against extreme weather events such as heavy rain and hail.
