A home that thinks for itself - where Germans see the potential of smart homes and what the technology should look like

Almost half of Germans are convinced that the smart home will become established in the future. More than one in three believe it is likely that smart alarm systems can lead to a reduction in burglary rates. This is the result of a representative study commissioned by MEDION, which also examined how Germans would like the technology to be used in detail. For the study, more than 2,000 people over the age of 18 were surveyed by YouGov.
