In Japan sind die Angestellten am unzufriedensten mit der Arbeit. Laut Randstad Workmonitor bestätigen hier nur etwa 42 Prozent der Befragten mit dem Job zufrieden zu sein. Zudem geben im asiatischen Inselstaat auch 21 Prozent an unzufrieden zu sein – von allen 34 Ländern in der Umfrage der höchste Wert.
Die hohe Unzufriedenheit liegt unter anderem an dem großen Druck, der auf den Arbeitnehmern in Japan lastet. Das Land ist weltweit für seine hohe Arbeitsmoral und stark hierarchisch geprägte Arbeitskultur bekannt. Doch Besserung ist in Sicht – neue Gesetze sollen die Angestellten in Japan zukünftig besser vor psychischer sowie physischer Misshandlung am Arbeitsplatz schützen.
Von den in Deutschland Befragten geben sich knapp drei Viertel mit ihrem Job zufrieden. Dem gegenüber stehen nur etwa 9 Prozent die gegenteilig antworten.
In Japan, employees are the most dissatisfied with their work. According to Randstad Workmonitor, only about 42 percent of those surveyed confirm that they are satisfied with their job. In addition, 21 percent of employees in the Asian island state also say they are dissatisfied – the highest figure of all 34 countries in the survey.
The high level of dissatisfaction is partly due to the great pressure on employees in Japan. The country is known worldwide for its high work ethic and strongly hierarchical work culture. But improvement is in sight – new laws are to protect employees in Japan better against psychological and physical abuse at the workplace.
Of those surveyed in Germany, almost three quarters are satisfied with their job. This contrasts with only about 9 percent who answered the opposite.
