Wirecard verdrängt Commerzbank aus dem DAX – @shutterstock | Ascannio
Die Commerzbank muss Ende September ihren Platz im Deutschen Aktienindex räumen. Am Mittwochabend verkündete die Deutsche Börse die Veränderungen. Demnach gehört das Gründungsmitglied, die teilverstaatlichte Commerzbank, aus den DAX-30-Unternehmen raus und muss sich künftig mit dem M-Dax begnügen, an ihre Stelle im Dax tritt der Bezahldienst Wirecard, der mit etwa 24 Milliarden Euro an der Börse mehr als doppelt so viel wert ist.
Wie die Grafik, mussten Aktionäre der Commerzbank in den vergangenen gut zehn Jahren deutliche Gewinnschwankungen hinnehmen. Bei Wirecard [Geschäftsbericht] ging es hin gegen kontinuierlich bergauf. Im vergangenen Jahr brachte eine Wirecard-Aktie 2,10 Euro Gewinn, eine Commerzbank-Aktie 0,12 Euro.
Commerzbank will have to give up its place in the German share index at the end of September. Deutsche Börse announced the changes on Wednesday evening. According to the changes, the founding member, the partly nationalized Commerzbank, will be removed from the DAX 30 companies and will have to make do with the M-Dax in future. Its place in the Dax will be taken by the payment service Wirecard, which is worth around 24 billion euros on the stock exchange, more than twice as much.
As the chart shows, Commerzbank shareholders have had to accept significant fluctuations in profits over the past ten years. At Wirecard [Annual Report], the trend was towards a continuous upward trend. Last year, one Wirecard share generated a profit of 2.10 euros, one Commerzbank share 0.12 euros.
