This information comes from a document of the German Bundestag, which Motherboard recently reported on. The federal government's spending on social media advertising has increased sharply over the past three years. In 2014, expenditures amounted to a comparatively modest 153,841 euros. Four years earlier, the figure was even less than 3,000 euros.
