The tech brands dominate the global market. This is shown once again by the new Interbrand ranking of the Best Global Brands. So, unsurprisingly, Apple is still the most valuable. The estimated value of the company with the bitten apple is $184 billion. Google follows in second place with almost 142 billion US dollars.
As the graphic from Statista shows, the two tech giants are at the top. Microsoft follows in third place with $80 billion. The software and hardware manufacturer pushed the Coca Cola Company out of third place.
In total, seven of the ten most valuable brands are tech companies. There are also two car manufacturers, Toyota and Mercedes-Benz, in seventh and ninth place. And tech companies also do best when it comes to value growth: Facebook increased by 48 percent compared to the previous year. At Amazon it is 29 percent and at Adobe 19 percent.
