The problem, however, is that not all parking spaces are the same. The number of special solutions that deviate from the standard is increasing. The reason for this is that you can actually usually work with standards for single or double solar carports. However, with larger systems the situation changes completely. Starting with the access routes through to the various exit situations. For large solar park systems, only steel structures are usually considered. They can sometimes last for many decades. Occasional cleaning is sufficient, they are stable and, above all, can carry large snow loads. Compared to aluminum or steel, wood is very susceptible to weathering and therefore requires regular and extensive care.

For large parks, you won't get very far with a carport from the hardware store or so-called designer carports.
