Apple has invited everyone to an event at its headquarters in Cupertino on September 12th. The new iPhone generation will most likely be unveiled at this event. Rumors suggest that all new devices will share the design of the flagship X model – which also means that the fingerprint sensor will be completely eliminated in favor of facial recognition, FaceID. According to Google Trends, search interest for the term "iPhone" increases significantly before each new release. However, the hype has also been greater, as a look at the Statista graphic shows.
