Kion Group AG is a German provider of forklift trucks, warehouse technology and related services as well as supply chain solutions.

The company is the world's second-largest supplier of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment after Toyota Material Handling, and the market leader in Europe. With its Dematic brand, Kion is a leading provider of automated material flow solutions, including supply chain and automation systems. In fiscal year 2018, Kion generated sales of approximately €8 billion with more than 33,000 employees.

The company's shares are listed on the German Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol KGX and have been a component of the MDAX index on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since September 2014. In 2017, 56.6% of the shares were publicly traded, with Weichai holding 43.3%. Weichai is a Chinese holding company, which in turn is part of Shandong Heyvy Industry.

Measured by revenue, the KION Group ranked second worldwide in the industrial truck sector in 2018. The top spot has belonged to the Japanese conglomerate Toyota for many years. Industrial trucks encompass transport equipment for the horizontal movement of goods, primarily used at ground level within industrial facilities. Revenue from industrial trucks accounts for nearly one-fifth of the total revenue of the German intralogistics industry.

On August 1, 2006, Linde AG spun off its forklift truck division, comprising Linde Material Handling, Still, and OM Carrelli Elevatori (OM), into Kion Group GmbH. This company was sold in November 2006 for €4 billion.

Linde Material Handling GmbH is the world's second-largest manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment. Its portfolio also includes intralogistics solutions such as fleet management, automation, and driver assistance systems, as well as vehicle-related services. Linde MH has production and assembly plants and a global sales and service network in more than 100 countries. Its headquarters and largest production site are located in Aschaffenburg, Germany.

Still GmbH, headquartered in Hamburg, is a manufacturer of forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, which describes itself as a full-service provider in intralogistics and is part of the Kion Group.

Officine Meccaniche (abbreviated OM, full name Società Anonima Officine Meccaniche) was an Italian machine and vehicle manufacturer based in Milan. Originally founded as a railway vehicle manufacturer, OM soon expanded its product range to include automobiles and became known for its robust sports cars and later also for its commercial vehicles.

From the 1930s onwards, OM also manufactured forklifts (Italian: Carrelli Elevatori), pallet trucks, and other industrial trucks. This division of OM became Fiat OM Carrelli Elevatori in 1975. In 1992, the German company Linde AG acquired an initial part of this division from Fiat and further expanded its stake in subsequent years. In 2002, Linde AG fully acquired Fiat OM Carrelli Elevatori. In 2006, OM Carrelli Elevatori was sold to the Kion Group.

On June 21, 2016, Kion announced the acquisition of Dematic, a provider of automation and supply chain optimization solutions. The acquisition of Dematic was completed in November 2016.
