📣 For entrepreneurs such as founders and start-ups
The financial plan is the basis for the business plan. It should be updated regularly. Clearly defined company goals help with this.

Disposable income of private households
The disposable income of private households corresponds to the income that households ultimately have available after deducting direct taxes and social security contributions. It can be used for consumption and savings. At the end of 2020, the disposable income of private households in Germany amounted to approximately €1.983 trillion. The majority of disposable income is used for consumption. The portion not consumed, plus the increase in occupational pension entitlements, represents the savings of private households. The saved portion of disposable income is referred to as the savings rate.
Used savings products
Private households have a wide range of investment options available for their savings. Nevertheless, despite low interest rates, many Germans still use savings accounts or book accounts to invest their money. German savers prefer conservative investment options, even if their returns are currently close to zero. More volatile investments such as stocks are generally avoided. This is also reflected in the number of shareholders in Germany, which is still a considerable distance from its record high reached during the dot-com boom of 2000. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 led to a resurgence in stock market participation.
