A new survey from Which? has identified Britain's most popular supermarkets. The ranking was based on a combination of general satisfaction and the likelihood that customers would recommend the supermarket to a friend. At the top of the list is Waitrose with a rating of 76 percent. Although the premium supermarket Marks & Spencer takes second place, the two German discounters Aldi and Lidl are in third and fourth place with 68 and 66 percent respectively. At the other end of the scale, Asda came out worst in the survey with a score of 56 percent.
