Global trends like robotics and artificial intelligence will revolutionize the way we work. Eighteen percent of jobs in Germany could be automated. But technology isn't the only factor changing the workforce: Employees are increasingly demanding flexible working hours, part-time work, or self-employment. Since 2016, there has been a significant increase in job postings promising "workplace flexibility." Sixty-three percent of millennials would switch jobs for one with flexible flextime.

But it is not only technology that is causing the workforce to change: The desire for flexible working hours, part-time work or self-employment is increasing among employees. Since 2016 there have been many more job advertisements promising “job flexibility”. 63 percent of millennials would change their jobs for one with flexible flexitime.
