Inspired by Hamlet: A monologue about sunlight or darkness – that is the question

A brief foray into the solar madness, the worries, hardships, and also the opportunities of our time. Inspired by and based on Shakespeare's famous Hamlet soliloquy. In many plays, monologues form a dramatic climax or mark a turning point in the plot.

Sunlight or darkness – that is the question.
Whether it is nobler to generate pure electricity,
and gather golden rays through panels,
or to contend with fluctuations and shadows,
and end them through clever storage. Sun – electricity –
both! And perhaps with electricity, raise our standard of living.
That is a goal worth waiting for.

💰 For who would bear the streams of expensive tariffs,
The plague of old networks, The lack of long hours,
The delusion of new prices, The dependency of delay,
The arrogance of oil barons and the sophistication
The sheer initiative of renewables takes,
