According to a recent survey, ground-mounted photovoltaic systems the strongest support (62%) for the construction of solar parks as an energy supplier in the neighborhood. Nuclear power plants (5%) and coal-fired power plants (4%) lag far behind.

Approximately 71.1 percent of this group lived in their own home. Meanwhile, around 36.8 percent of the general population lived in their own home.

According to a projection, around 3.31 million people in Germany were definitely or possibly planning to modernize or purchase a new solar /photovoltaic system in 2020. Of this group, approximately 33.2 percent lived in a town or village with 5,000 to under 20,000 inhabitants. This figure was around 26.6 percent for the general population. The Consumption and Media Analysis (VuMA) provides information on more than 1,000 brands and virtually all products advertised in the media. The study delivers data on usage and purchasing behavior, media consumption, and attitudes of the German-speaking population aged 14 and over.
