Dangers in the high -bay warehouse? These protective precautions are a must
Security in high -bay bearings: comprehensive protective measures for avoiding accident
High -bay warehouse offer an efficient way to store large quantities of goods in a confined space. However, due to the special challenges of these storage structures, extensive security measures are essential. In order to prevent accidents from crashes, falling goods, collisions with industrial trucks and fire risks, technical, organizational and personal protection measures must be taken. A continuous security strategy includes various aspects that are explained in detail here.
1. Structural security
The structural security of a high -bay bearing forms the foundation for safe operation. Shelves and structures must be stable, resilient and protected against external influences.
- Load distribution and stability: Compliance with the maximum load loads is essential to avoid overload. Regular tests of the statics and stress simulations can be recognized and remedied early.
- Recurring exams: According to the Operating Safety Ordinance (BetrSichV), high -bay warehouse must be examined by qualified experts at least once a year. These tests include the stability of the shelf systems, the fastening points and possible material fatigue.
- Protection against damage: Shelves must be protected from mechanical influences by industrial trucks. This requires start -up protection measures such as protective profiles on shelves and buffer zones. Markings on the ground help to avoid collisions.
2. Transport and personal protection
Internal traffic is one of the largest sources of danger in high -bay bearings. Accidents can be avoided by clearly defined traffic regulations and protective measures.
The width of the traffic routes must meet the requirements of the respective means of transport. For the hand control, the minimum width is 0.75 m, 1.25 m for pitchers in narrow passages and for forklift traffic in wide corridors.
Personal recognition systems are particularly necessary in areas with mixed traffic to prevent clashes:
- Separate areas for pedestrians and vehicles: There are separate walking paths for pedestrians, which are clearly delimited from the driving distances of the industrial trucks by barriers or markings. Safety levels in confusing areas and lighting increase visibility.
- - Tempolimits and driver training: A limitation of the speed of industrial trucks as well as regular driver training is essential for accident prevention.
3. Personal protective equipment (PSA)
The use of personal protective equipment is essential for employees in high -bay bearings in order to minimize the risk of injury.
- Crash protection: People who work at heights must be secured with appropriate protective equipment. This includes three-point belts with case dampers, holding ropes and twin-socket protection devices.
- Basic equipment: To protect against falling objects, all employees must wear safety shoes of class S3, helmets with chin straps and cut protection gloves.
- Rescue systems: For emergencies, abseiling devices and first aid equipment must be positioned at strategically cheap locations. All employees must be trained regularly in handling these systems.
4. Fire protection measures
Due to the stored goods and packaging materials, there is an increased risk of fire due to the stored goods. Therefore, comprehensive preventive measures are required.
- Construction separation: fire sections must be secured by fire protection walls and fire protection doors. Smoke extraction systems help to ensure quick smoke extraction in the event of a fire.
- Deleting systems: Automatic sprinkler and gas extinguishing systems are prescribed especially on high shelves over 9 m high. These systems must be waited regularly to ensure a reliable function.
- Organizational guidelines: Strictly ban on smoking applies in high -bay bearings. In addition, fire -dangerous work, such as welding, must be subject to approval and be secured by special protective measures.
- Fire alarm systems and emergency plans: Automatic fire detectors must be checked at regular intervals. In addition, clear emergency plans for the fire case must be created and practiced regularly.
5. Hazard assessment and training
The continuous identification of sources of danger and regular training contributes to safety in high -bay bearings.
- Regular risk analyzes: Potential sources of danger such as unstable loads, unsecured access or incorrect shelf structures must be identified and eliminated by risk analyzes.
- Training and instructions: All employees must be trained in the safe operation of industrial trucks, the use of PSA and in behavior in emergencies. These training courses should be refreshed at least once a year.
- Promote security culture: An open culture of errors in which safety -relevant observations are reported and discussed contributes to the more conscious handling of dangers.
6. Emergency management
Efficient emergency management is essential in order to be able to act quickly and coordinated in an emergency.
- Rescue concepts: Clear escape and escape routes must be defined and checked regularly. First aid stations are to be placed at strategic points.
- Regular emergency exercises: Evacuation training and extinguishing exercises must be carried out at regular intervals in order to ensure a quick reaction in an emergency.
- Communication in an emergency: All employees need to know how to report emergencies and behave correctly. This includes alarm plans and clearly defined contacts for various emergency scenarios.
Holistic security concept for high -bay warehouse: minimize risks, maximize protection
Security in high -bay bearings requires a holistic approach that includes both structural, organizational and personnel measures. The consistent implementation of all protective precautions - from planning the warehouse structure to daily operation to regular training and emergency exercises, is crucial for the minimization of accident risks. A safe working environment can only be guaranteed by combining technical, organizational and personal security measures.
