In Europe & Eurasia, available power in gigawatts increased by around 73 percent - in Germany it was almost 122 percent. Accordingly, the share of renewables in electricity generation in this country has also increased significantly. According to BDEW, in the last quarter of 2020 they covered over half of gross domestic electricity consumption for the first time.
