The newest visitor to Mars is called Insight and was sent to the red planet by NASA. Since yesterday, the probe, which was launched on May 5th, has been sending signals from the surface of Mars, where it is supposed to research the early geological development of the planet. According to NASA, the current mission is humanity's 45th attempt to reach Mars. Americans and Russians have tried it most often, as the infographic shows.
