A credit card automatically stored on a computer is the most important form of online payment in the U.S., according to a mobile banking survey by Ipsos and ING. Of the 1,000 respondents surveyed between March 26 and April 6, 2018, 45 percent cited card payments as their primary form of online transaction. Paypal took second place, with around one in five respondents citing online payment as their preferred form of online payment.
Amazon Pay, Google Pay and Apple Pay were some of the less common forms of online payments for those surveyed by Ipsos and ING.
