For distribution to the convenience stores, the picking process for each store is coordinated directly from the store's central office, with all data being fed into the center's warehouse management system after shipment.

Among the extensive Business Continuity Plans (BCP) implemented at the Ichikawa distribution center is the use of seismic isolators to protect the facility against the effects of earthquakes. An emergency power supply protects the center from the consequences of power outages.
