1. Storage of heavy loads

Thanks to the development of new, more load-bearing trays, the Shuttle XP 1000 model can accommodate loads of up to 1,000 kg with a width of 1,250 mm and up to 800 kg in weight with a width of 4,050 mm. This corresponds to a total storage capacity of 120 tons per vertical warehouse; a value that is equivalent to doubling the payload compared to previous systems.

2. Flexibility in storing different sized parts

It is possible to use trays with different load capacities within a single vertical warehouse. In addition to reducing acquisition costs, this tray mix enables customers to handle both heavy storage goods and large quantities of small parts in parallel in a single shelving system. We therefore offer our customers a solution with which they can design their work processes more flexibly, economically and ergonomically.

3. Storage of pallets

With the help of a newly developed tray technology, the Shuttle XP 1000 is also suitable for use as a pallet rack, as the model can hold up to two pallets standing side by side.

The Euro pallets are placed using a forklift into an optionally available manual or automatic pallet tray pull-out and can be stored directly from there. This new form of pallet storage leads to a further reduction in storage and production space, as it allows pallets to be stored up to 20 meters wide. In addition, it allows quicker access to goods stored on pallets. The laborious loading and unloading of pallets is eliminated, as is the need to use high-bay forklifts.

4. Integrated lifting crane

For the first time, the Shuttle XP 1000 offers customers the option of using storage lifts with a factory-installed crane. This enables heavy parts to be handled directly at the workplace using an integrated lifting crane.

Thanks to the lifting crane integrated into the industrial lift, the efficient storage and retrieval of even heavy loads weighing up to one ton is possible without any problems. They are placed directly into the shelves of the storage system using the factory-installed crane. The crane is electrically operated and can be pulled out in front of the full extension tray in order to pick up and deliver the heavy goods there. An additional foundation is not required when setting up the system. There is also no need to install an external lifting or slewing crane. Other advantages include quick and safe storage of heavy goods on trays, improved ergonomics and safety for staff and the ability to easily move the entire system, including the crane, to another location.
