Investments in display and search engine advertising, as well as online classifieds, are expected to rise from around $246 billion last year to just over $328 billion in 2021. This means that almost half of all advertising dollars will then be invested in digital channels. In contrast, the decline for traditional media continues – especially television and newspapers.
