The BYD control unit forms the basis for BYD HVM or HVS energy storage towers. It is equipped with BYD Battery-Box Premium battery modules. Up to five HVS modules are possible, providing a capacity of 12.8 kWh. With up to eight HVM battery modules, the maximum capacity reaches 22.08 kWh. Furthermore, up to three identical Battery-Box Premium HVS or HVM units connected in parallel can achieve a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh (HVS) or 66.2 kWh (HVM). The system can also be easily expanded later with additional modules or parallel towers. One control unit and base are required per tower. Thanks to the patented modular plug-in design, internal wiring is unnecessary, thus enabling maximum flexibility and user-friendliness.
