BYD base and control unit BCU (Base Control Unit) for the battery modules (HVS /HVM)
The BYD control unit forms the basis for BYD storage towers HVM or HVS. For this purpose, it is equipped with BYD Battery-Box Premium battery modules. Up to 5 HVS modules are possible, which means a capacity of 12.8 kWh. With up to 8 HVM battery modules, the capacity is a maximum of 22.08 kWh. In addition, up to 3 identical Battery-Box Premium HVS or HVM connected in parallel can achieve a maximum capacity of 38.4 kWh (HVS) or 66.2 kWh (HVM). The system can also be easily expanded later with additional modules or parallel towers. One control unit + base is required per tower. The patented modular plug-in design eliminates the need for internal cabling, allowing maximum flexibility and being very user-friendly.
