Digital terms remain uncharted territory

When it comes to terminology, the internet remains uncharted territory for many. This is according to figures from TNS Infratest. The market research company surveyed 1,003 people about their familiarity with digital terms. The most well-known is social media. 38 percent of respondents could describe what it is, and 25 percent had heard of it. The communication methods of the social network Twitter are less familiar. Tweets and retweets were completely unknown to 65 percent. Ad blockers were also unknown to 65 percent. This will certainly please many online entrepreneurs. Germans were least familiar with wearables: Over 80 percent of respondents did not know what the term meant.
