The majority of Germans believe that their city is still lagging behind when it comes to digitalization. This emerges from a current survey by the digital association Bitkom .
In this survey, 30 percent rated the level of digitalization in their city or municipality as not advanced at all. 34 percent find it rather unadvanced. Only seven percent of Germans are very satisfied with the digitalization of their place of residence, as the graphic from Statista shows.
There is great interest in improving digitalization: more than half of those surveyed (57 percent) can imagine living in a city with many digital offerings, according to the study results.
