This plan, known as the "Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan" (SUMP), aims to meet the mobility needs of individuals and businesses in the city and surrounding areas and to improve the quality of life. The SUMP includes intermodal strategies and measures to promote the transition to environmentally friendly modes of transport, builds on established planning approaches, and emphasizes cooperation, participation, and evaluation principles. Numerous European cities have already developed similar plans.
