The Internet Explorer was the undisputed number 1 among the browsers. But that was a while ago. , according , the Microsoft browser was displaced in second place, since 2016 it has only been enough for third place. The company reacted in 2015 and launched a new web browser with Edge. However, Microsoft was in no way been able to build on the success of the Internet Explorer, as the view of the graphic shows. According to rumors, EDGE is now to be hired. Allegedly, developers are already working on a new browser that is supposed to be based on Chromium – ultimately on the code of the global market leader of the great competitor Google.
