According to the SCI/Logistics Barometer from September 2021, Győr is among the top 20 most dynamic logistics regions, ranking ahead of Barcelona and Milan.
Győr is not only a center of the textile industry, it is one of the country's most important industrial locations. The automotive industry (Audi Hungária, the second largest company in Hungary), mechanical engineering (Rába), and the chemical industry are also based here. The Göppingen-based model railway manufacturer Märklin maintains one of its two production facilities in Győr.
