Nearly 30 million search queries are entered into DuckDuckGo . Unlike Google, this search engine does not collect user data and refrains from personalized advertising. This, and presumably the ever-growing list of data scandals and minor controversies, has ensured its continued upward trend for years. In 2015, the ten million search query mark was broken for the first time in a single day. Two years later, that number had already reached 20 million. Nevertheless, these figures are still very small compared to Google – according to TechCrunch, three billion search queries are processed there daily.
