Frustrations caused by online advertising
With iOS 14.5, users can block access to their iPhone's advertising ID. For companies like Google and Facebook, this poses a real threat. However, according to statistics, the situation is different for consumers. In all the countries shown on this world map, a significant percentage of the population is frequently annoyed by online advertising. In the United States, for example, 42 percent of survey respondents said so. Austrians (59 percent) are particularly dissatisfied with online advertising. In contrast, the Chinese and Brazilians (31 percent each) are not so easily bothered by digital advertising.
